John Juanda wins WSOP-E 2008 London2008 WSOPE champion is named John Juanda, it would take 22 hours before the member of Team Full Tilt Poker could defeat his last opponent in the final table.
After Sonnert and Demidov had to leave the final table, only John Juanda and Stanislav Alekhin was left. These two would then begin a marathon match that lasted throughout the seven hours. Winning from the battle in the last hand at the final was John Juanda as with K-6 was able to defeat a shortstackad Alekhin who have gone all-in with A-9. Juanda receives his first European WSOP bracelet and 868 800 pounds, second winner Alekhin won 533 950 pounds.
This was the fourth Juanda WSOP bracelet and a total he has now gained more than 7 million dollars in live tournaments.
